Over the weekend, we made pumpkin cinnamon rolls for breakfast and shared them on our Facebook page. A bunch of people sent us a message asking how to make them, so we decided to share how on our blog.
Making pumpkin-shaped cinnamon rolls with store-bought cinnamon rolls is a fun and festive way to enjoy a breakfast treat during the fall season. We can’t wait to have a little one to share these fun experiences!
What you need:
Kitchen String and a scissor
(3) Cinnamon sticks
Grands or any brand of large cinnamon rolls, we used Trader Joe's
Parchment paper
1. Preheat oven as directed and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Cut each cinnamon stick in half
3. Cut 20 pieces of kitchen string, enough to wrap around the cinnamon roll, lay four strings down crossing, place the cinnamon roll in the center and tie opposite ends. Repeat with the rest of the cinnamon rolls.
3. Bake according to the package instructions
4. Let cool for a few minutes, then cut the strings and carefully remove them. Pull slowly so you don’t rip the roll.
5. Top with the frosting provided and push half of the cinnamon stick center as the pumpkin stem.
6. Enjoy!
