We had a busy weekend; Anthony went to work on Saturday. His baseball team had a game, they did well but they ended up losing in the last inning.
I went for a 2-mile walk through the neighborhood, the weather is still a little cold here in Long Island, but I did see some signs of spring, even in our front yard our favorite tree is blooming. I spent the rest of the day cleaning the house and cooking. I made a spinach, feta and tomato quiche. We can’t wait for the weather to get warm and spend more time outside.
On Sunday we had to run some errands and go weekly food shopping. We went to Target to buy our nieces and nephew some gifts and candy for Easter. We decided to make one of our favorite meals, spaghetti and meatballs with red sauce, we always make sauce together, it is a team effort.
Anthony starts his spring break on Friday, and he will be off the full week after. The pups will be super happy that he will be home for the week. We hope the weather warms up so he can start cleaning up the yard for spring.
