After 2 plus years of avoiding the covid virus, unfortunately, I tested positive last Tuesday evening. When I woke up Tuesday morning, I had a little headache and towards the evening I started to get chills and body aches. When Anthony came home from work, I decided to take a home test, and it showed up positive. I was very sick with flu-like symptoms for over a week and complete exhaustion.
Anthony’s job told him to isolate himself for 7 days and then return to work after he took a PCR test since he was exposed to me. I did not want him to get it, but I was happy that he was home while I was sick.
I am happy to say that I am finally feeling so much better now and that I tested negative. The weather has been improving here and I can’t wait to start going on my daily walks around the neighborhood (spring sunset photo from a walk). I can’t believe that covid is still a major issue two-plus years later. I hope everyone stays safe and never has to deal with getting this awful virus. I’m sad that I had to miss our niece Kayla’s Communion.
