We are posting our favorite Dr. Seuss books in honor of Dr. Seuss Day. Anthony's two favorites are Green and Eggs and Ham and Oh The Places You'll Go! He loved Green Eggs and Ham because it's the first Dr. Seuss book he remembers his mom reading to him before bed. He likes Oh, The Places You'll Go because of the message about the journey of life, its challenges, and joys - Also, I gifted this book to Anthony for his Master's graduation. Fun fact Oh, The Places You'll Go was also the last book published in Dr. Seuss's lifetime.
I had a large collection of Dr. Seuss books growing up. Some of my favorites included; The Cat in The Hat, Yertle The Turtle, Wacky Wednesday, Fox in Socks, Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, and my ultimate favorite, especially around Christmas is How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Growing up, my mother would read me a few books before bed, and I would always pick one Dr. Seuss book.
We can't wait to read Dr. Seuss's books to our future children since it was a huge part of both of our childhoods.
